Lucien De Roeck Foundation

To celebrate the life and work of typographer, illustrator and educator Lucien De Roeck (1915-2002), the Lucien De Roeck Foundation wanted to create a website that could encapsulate the unique vision and influence of the man most famous for his elongated star; the emblem of the 1958 World Expo in Brussels.

Undercast proved to be the perfect partner, creating a design concept reflecting the elegant asymmetry of this truly iconic emblem which is still very much in demand amongst collectors today. The website brings together an extensive array of designs, descriptions and anecdotes by and about this exceptional designer within an intelligent and accessible navigation structure.
